A combination of contemporary and traditional manufacturing techniques opening new possibilities, Contrast is a consolidation between 3D printing and porcelain casting. Even though the methods are complete opposites in many ways, combining them gives new possibilities in form and expression.

The shape makes use of the way a 3D printer builds shapes – layer for layer. In every layer, the ellipse in the vase is slightly angled, creating a continuous asymmetrical form. Contrast is made by hand as very limited edition.
