Seppe van Heusden is an independent designer from The Netherlands, with a focus on well considered lighting, furniture and interior objects.

After having completed his Master of Fine Arts at Lund University School of Industrial Design (Sweden) in 2020, he started there as part-time lecturer. At the same time, he began working with companies and started Vheus to independently bring out works.

Inspired by context and space, the works seek an architectural relation to give meaning to objects. By working with contrasts, a certain directness is found in the objects which lead to a contemporary and essential expression.

The start of the collaboration with Serax has set a strong tone, with more to come.

Honest materials and their characteristics are an inherent part to the process and give direction in their possibilities and limitations. Based on an interest in material processes and their natural result, objects can be explorative as well as efficient.
